Obama-Singh 21st Century Knowledge Initiative: USA-India Science Collaboration
The United States - India Educational Foundation (USIEF) supports partnerships between U.S. and Indian institutions of higher education to strengthen collaboration and build partnerships.
Proposals in the following fields are eligible:
- Sustainable Development;
- Climate Change;
- Environmental Studies;
- Education and Educational Reform;
- Public Health; and
- Community Development and Innovation.
Exchange activities may include but are not limited to curriculum design; research collaboration; team teaching; focused series of exchanges; and seminars -- among other activities. Activities should be designed to develop expertise, advance scholarship and teaching, and promote reliable and long-term communication between partner institutions.
The maximum grant is US$250 thousand. Full information on how to apply, including the request for proposal and frequently asked questions, is posted in the announcement. The closing date for applications is 01 November 2012.
