YPARD Albania in collaboration with the Agricultural University of Tirana is organizing the YPARD Café Albania to discuss the impact of COVID19 in the engagement of young professionals in agribusiness and agriculture. The activity will be held online on 26 November 2020 through the zoom platform. This event aims to place more focus on youth engagement in contemporary times by fostering interaction between young people and experts in agriculture and agribusiness regarding opportunities that increase youth employment and contributions to socio-economic recovery.

The Café will bring together Young Professionals and experts on youth engagement in the country to discuss issues of young people related to their interest in agriculture. This is to position young people themselves as influencers in the strategic direction of youth engagement in sustainable systems within the country, in the region and beyond.

To discuss this activity, in the first section experts are invited to introduce their point of view about the new challenges and new opportunities of agriculture and agribusiness during and post-pandemic time.

Topics to present according to the Agenda will be:

In the second section, we have invited two Youngers that are engaged in agriculture and agro-tourism newly and will share their success story with the participants.

In the third section, an open discussion will take place between participants with a highlight of best policies and approaches to face pandemics time and lessons learnt from this emerged/ unusually situation.

Participating in this event will be master students of Agriculture University, which as future young professionals will discuss with experts and will give their point of you about the topic, and also YPARD Albania members and others interested in this event.
