The International Union of Forest Research Organizations (IUFRO) has just issued a new electronic newsletter. IUFRO News is a quarterly printed newsletter that includes IUFRO E-Notes as well as the bi-monthly electronic information for officeholders and members.
This time, IUFRO News counts with the collaboration of Sarah Dickson-Hoyle, liaison officer between the International Forestry Students Association (IFSA) and the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR), who contributes with an article on the Forests Asia Summit, held in Jakarta on May 5-6 this year.
The piece, entitled IFSA takes center stage at the Forests Asia Summit (p.4), highlights the preparation of the special session Youth in Southeast Asia' together with YPARD and CIFOR, as well as its good results towards fostering youth involvement in Southeast Asias forests.
