This comes as a follow up of the meeting organised by CIAT: "Preparation Workshop: building up the Latin American and Carribean Young Professionals Platform in Agricultural Research for Development", run from 4 to 6 August 2009. CIAT and YPARD LAC representative discussed and identified the possibilities and objectives of YPARD LAC empowerment.
A concept note : "Developing Young Professionals capacities for improving vulnerable communities' food security" has been issued from this meeting.
