Represent YPARD in the #GenerationRestoration Youth Hub

Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) and Youth in Landscapes Initiative (YIL)  along with other networks/initiatives have co-convened to form the #GenerationRestoration Youth Hub to join efforts in support of the UN Decade of Ecosystem Restoration. Have we peaked your interest yet? There's more....

 

We are looking to appoint a YPARDian to represent us in the #GenerationRestoration Youth Hub! You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with other youth to:

 

- Strengthen the connective tissue among youth networks

- Build upon and strengthen existing youth-led advocacy efforts

- Share capacity building opportunities for youth-led restoration efforts

- Communicate the impact and importance of youth-led and youth-focused  restoration action

 - Accelerate the global youth movement for ecosystem restoration

Build and support innovative education and learning opportunities on ecosystem  restoration, including but not limited to ecopreneurship nature-based solutions and  advocacy

 

 What will be expected of you?

 This volunteer position does require time commitment as you'll be expected to attend 3-4 quarterly meetings in a year and to be in close communication with YPARD's Global Coordinating Unit through your involvement in YPARD's Policy & Advocacy Working Group. This volunteer position is for a one year appointment.
