International Center for Journalists -- Journalism Fellowships on Climate Change
Deadline
The Climate Change Journalism Virtual Fellowship is a joint program of
the United Nations Foundation and the International Center for
Journalists. The program will give 10 professional journalists from
Europe, Asia, and Africa who do not regularly cover the environment the
opportunity to speak with global experts on climate change, environment,
health, and economies. After the virtual briefings, the 10
journalists will be asked to submit story ideas based on the information
they learned during the online event. The three journalists with the
best ideas will each receive a grant of US$1 thousand to pursue
reporting on climate change in their regions. The deadline to apply for
the virtual fellowship is 12 August 2014.
