Opportunities

The Young Innovators Competition 2014 will support social start-ups which use open source technologies for disaster management. This could include disaster preparedness, early warning, emergency communication and response, and recovery from natural disasters.  Ideas are requested from innovators worldwide ages 18-30.  The challenge offers two seed grants, each for US$10 thousand, plus an opportunity to participate at ITU Telecom World in Doha (December 2014). The closing date for entries is 31 July 2014.
