YPARD at the World Food Forum 2025: Amplifying Youth Voices for Sustainable Food Systems

From 14–17 October 2025, YPARD will take part in the World Food Forum (WFF) in Rome, Italy — a global platform uniting youth, farmers, innovators, and decision-makers to co-create solutions for more sustainable, equitable, and resilient agrifood systems.

Representing YPARD at this year’s Forum are Edoardo Corriere (Policy and Programs Coordinator) and Karen Salazar (GlobalRise, YPARD PWG Focal Point). They will engage in a series of high-level dialogues, side events, and collaborative sessions throughout the week.

Through these engagements, YPARD will:

  • Amplify youth and women’s leadership in shaping the future of agrifood systems;
  • Showcase youth-led innovations in agroecology, climate action, and sustainable food production;
  • Advocate for inclusive policies that strengthen rural livelihoods and empower young people across the agricultural value chain.

This year’s WFF provides a dynamic opportunity to highlight the role of agroecology and youth participation in transforming food systems amidst the growing climate crisis. YPARD’s contributions align closely with our mission to ensure that young professionals are recognized as key actors in driving systemic change for a sustainable food future.

Stay tuned as we share key takeaways, youth insights, and reflections from our team throughout the Forum week.
