In 2024, YPARD celebrated a pivotal year of growth, resilience, and impact. Now operating as an independent nonprofit registered in Germany, YPARD expanded its global presence through strategic partnerships, youth-led initiatives, and project implementation in over 60 countries.
This year’s report highlights key achievements across advocacy, professional development, and knowledge exchange—including impactful work across different regions and globally. Activitis and initiatives included capacity building on and engagement in the three Rio Conventions, the launch of YPARD LAC Incuba for agribusiness startups, the Agroecology Fellows training program across two continents, and the Menu for Change Challenge in collaboration with EIT Food that encouraged innovation in Europe’s food systems. YPARD also revamped its digital presence building a new online home that reaches tens of thousands globally.
With a focus on agroecology, green jobs, sustainable food systems, and inclusive leadership, YPARD continues to empower young professionals to lead change in agriculture—locally and globally.
