On May 22nd–23rd, 2025, Ojuoluwa Oluwatobiloba represented Young Professionals for Agricultural Development (YPARD) Nigeria at the National Consultation on Nigeria’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC 3.0) in Abuja amplifying the voices of youth in the climate and agricultural space.

As climate realities become more pressing from unpredictable rainfall to soil degradation YPARD Nigeria continues to champion youth inclusion in sustainable agriculture and climate governance. With active hubs across the Southwest, Southeast, and Northern regions, YPARD Nigeria members are not just reacting to climate change, they are leading innovative, community-based solutions that address food insecurity, promote regenerative practices, and align with national climate goals.

Ojuoluwa’s participation at the NDC 3.0 forum signals a growing recognition of the value of youth-led initiatives in shaping Nigeria’s climate commitments. Representing a generation of climate-smart thinkers and doers, her voice echoed the need for coordinated policy inclusion, climate financing for youth innovations, and stronger data access for adaptation strategies.

YPARD Nigeria remains committed to ensuring that young professionals are not left out of policy conversations but are strategically positioned as co-creators of climate-resilient agricultural systems in line with Nigeria’s NDC vision.
