The first NAYD summit is to be held the at the beginning of November in Kenya. It will be a chance for anyone who yearns for sustainable development in Africa to meet in Nairobi to share ideas and agree ways of moving forward. We are more than halfway through the MDG period yet only 3 African countries are on course to meet their commitments by 2015. The question is ‘What can YOU do to help?’ Keep an eye on the NAYD summit 09 page and the YAHOO group for conference details, application forms and ways to get involved. There will be discussions at the end of month web conferences as well.
