Highlights

With the number of hungry people approaching 1 billion world-wide and the impacts of climate change at hand, the United Nations Commission on Sustainable Development (CSD) will meet to take policy decisions on agriculture, rural development, land management, drought, desertification and African development, as well as to foster Governmental dialogue on the Global Food crisis, Agricultural Resiliency and an African Green Revolution.
