lease find attached an announcement of a training course for Environment Advisors to support Emergency Shelter Cluster Operations. The training is scheduled to take place in Sri Lanka from 18 to 20 March 2009 and is sponsored by ProAct Network, CARE International and RedR UK working for the Global Emergency Shelter Cluster.
The training is a residential no-fee event with possible support for travel costs to and from Sri Lanka . The training is intended for individuals with strong environmental backgrounds, an interest in becoming involved in emergency shelter operations and currently working in Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka or Thailand. The training will take place in English. Participants who successfully complete the course will be placed on a roster of Environment Advisors for the Emergency Shelter Cluster.
