YPARD Nepal is organizing a workshop “Youth’s Grant Writing Skills Enhancement” from 1-2 August 2016 at the National Agricultural Research Institute (NARI) complex, Khumaltar, Lalitpur, Nepal in the support of USAID/Winrock International and Nepal Agriculture Research Council (NARC).

The workshop will focus to enhance the quality of grant and technical writing. This will also help to increase knowledge and skills in planning strategy for new business plan and collaboration with donor agencies and partner organizations.

2.      Call for Mentees: EduMala Mentoring Program

EduMala Mentoring Program is a blended online/offline mentoring program, operated by YPARD Nepal in technical support of Dream Work Solution to build the interpersonal skills of Nepalese young agricultural professionals. We have already successfully completed our 1st and 2nd batch of mentoring program in January and March, 2016 respectively.

Currently, we are opening a call for mentees: “Managing Livestock-Based Community Development Projects" which will be starting from 8-19 August 2016. Individual interested in community development having background of livestock, undergrads/grads (from agriculture, veterinary science or livestock, social work) can apply here. We will notify you before 31 July 2016 about the status of your application.

3.      Call for Mentors: EduMala Mentoring Program

Do you have expertise in i) Agriculture, ii) Animal Science, iii) Natural Resources, iv) Food Science, v) Forestry, vi) Environmental Science, etc.? Are you comfortable to share your experiences with beginning researchers?

If so, EduMala might be your best platform for volunteering to serve as a mentor.
