Global Event without Girl from Armenia?

AnnaCan you imagine a time when youth from rural areas will be able to solve agricultural problem with a mouse click.

What if I said that every TV network, movie, blog, book, and other forms of social media use this same tactic? Better yet, what if I showed you how to leverage this tactic to attract more subscribers and earn more sales?

I am Anna Hovhannisyan one of the #GCARD3 participant and YPARD members from Republic of Armenia, which has unique diaspora and farming. I am working in the Center for Agribusiness and Rural Development (CARD) Foundation.

We are implementing different projects and the main purpose of the projects is to support the small-scale farmers, youth, producers and trading companies of the region in increasing their productivity, incomes and the level of education of farmers. We also facilitate youth to increase their responsible leadership, democratic values and consciousness of diversity including global and intergenerational fairness.

I have a Master degree in the department of Agribusiness and Marketing and was graduated Texas A&M University Department in Armenia and Arminan National Agrarian University. My profession, volunteering and working experiences have a direct connection to my personal, professional and my country’s needs.

I was founded small dried fruit start-up in my village Byurakan. We are in the working phase, connecting with new potential partners and signing harvest exporting contracts.

I am driven to be the best at what I do and I want to be somewhere where I’ll have opportunities to develop my skills, take on interesting experiences, and work with people I can really learn from.

Although I love my current role, I feel I’m now ready for a more challenging assignment and this Global Event in Johannesburg really excites me.
