On the road to 2014-2018 – new YPARD Business Plan released

The end of 2013 and beginning of 2014 has been a milestone in the development of YPARD.  Many strategic events have been shaping the organization, from the external review of late 2013, to the strategic planning meeting in early January and the update of the charter.

Based on the activities outlined in the business plan, our strongest supporters, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, SDC has decided to support YPARD for another phase, until the beginning of 2018. It is a confirmation of the importance of engaging young professionals in the agricultural development sector and a confirmation of the value of Young Professionals for Agricultural Development (YPARD) as the agency that is instrumental to making this happen.

Congratulations to all YPARD members and supporters. YPARD is a community where its members are at the heart of its success for significant youth involvement in shaping the future of a sustainable agricultural development!
