Integrated Pest Management (IPM) encompasses sustainable ways of dealing with the Fall Armyworm- a common pest in Africa.

Through the different high impact agroecologocial strategies and actions under IPM, the Fall Armyworm can be effectively controlled while protecting the environment and people. Approaches can be classified into different categories:
1. Preventing Outbreaks
2. Protecting Natural Enemies
3. Monitoring Smartly
4. Low-cost interventions
5. Using biological methods primarily, and chemicals only if absolutely necessary
